- Unique curved and self locking rear gate for speedy and safe operation

Description:
The calf race is mainly used as a calf waiting unit with a calf cradle to improve the operational efficiency and safety. The efficiency is obtained with an inside width of 430mm, to prevent turning, and overhead bars to prevent calves jumping or rearing. There are also curved self-locking gates and a spring loaded locking gate to index calves onto a cradle, all improving speed of operation.
The calf race is a modular unit available in one, two & three straight sections. The most common being three sections. Not only is the Thompson Longhorn calf race efficient in operation but also transportation, where the units are light and a three section unit can be shipped in the space of typically a single unit.
Sides of the race are un-sheeted providing both lightness and also allow the ability to batch ear tagging etc. The calf race is a recommended necessity for anyone with a cradle doing a number of calves and limited labour to help.
